A quick and flavorful flatbread topped with tangy BBQ sauce, tender chicken, sweet red onion, and gooey cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • Flatbread
  • Cooked chicken, shredded
  • BBQ sauce
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Cilantro, chopped
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a baking sheet or pizza stone inside if desired.
  2. Brush the flatbread with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of BBQ sauce on top of the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Evenly distribute the shredded chicken and sliced red onion over the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top in an even layer.
  6. Place the flatbread in the preheated oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are crisp.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped cilantro, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

For party-ready serving, slice into thin strips and serve on a wooden board. Adjust seasonings according to taste, especially with the BBQ sauce.
