Creamy, golden, and high in protein, these Cottage Cheese Breadsticks are a savory snack that are easy to make and perfect for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (about 240 ml)
  • 1 cup almond flour (about 120 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 56 g)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, chives, or basil), finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend together cottage cheese, almond flour, egg, shredded mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add finely chopped fresh herbs if desired, folding them in by hand.
  4. Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping into sticks about 1 inch wide.
  5. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
