Honey garlic shrimp features tender shrimp coated in a sticky, sweet-and-savory sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl until combined.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the shrimp to the hot skillet in a single layer. Cook until pink and barely opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the cooked shrimp and stir to coat. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds if using, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve over rice, noodles, or with crusty bread for dipping. Adjust seasoning and sweetness to your preference.
