Creamy, chocolatey protein bites that are perfect for post-workout snacks or quick breakfasts, all without baking.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Scoop the cottage cheese into a blender. Add the honey and vanilla extract. Blend until completely smooth.
  2. Transfer the blended cottage cheese to a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the cocoa powder and protein powder (if using). Mix until you reach a thick consistency.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts, seeds, or mini chocolate chips.
  5. Using a tablespoon or small cookie scoop, portion the batter and roll into 1-inch balls.
  6. Arrange the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or freeze for 30 minutes, until firm. Serve chilled.

Notes

These bites can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
