BBQ Chicken Flatbread

A quick and delicious BBQ chicken flatbread topped with melty cheese and fresh cilantro.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb grilled chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 4 flatbreads or naan
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Position a rack in the middle.
  2. Combine the shredded chicken with 1 cup BBQ sauce in a medium bowl. Toss until coated.
  3. Arrange the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
  4. Divide the BBQ chicken evenly across the four flatbreads.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the chicken.
  6. Scatter the thinly sliced red onion on top of the cheese.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbling.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 1–2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and slice into wedges.

Notes

For a crispier base, use thinner flatbreads and preheat the baking sheet.
