Delicious beef cheeseburger flavor wrapped in crispy tortillas, perfect for family dinners or as party snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (about 450 g)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 4 oz / 113 g)
  • 1/2 cup diced onions (about 75 g)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (4 tbsp)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 8 large flour tortillas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and the diced onions. Cook, breaking up the beef with a spoon, until the beef is browned and onions are soft. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly combined and heated through. Remove from heat briefly to cool slightly.
  3. Lay out a tortilla on a clean surface. Place a portion of the beef mixture on one end, leaving edges clear. Sprinkle with cheese, then roll tightly.
  4. Heat a little oil in a clean skillet over medium heat. Wait until the oil shimmers before adding the rollups.
  5. Place the rollups seam-side down in the skillet. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy while the cheese is melty.

Notes

Rollups can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Reheat in a skillet for the best texture.
