  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup pistachios, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sugar, and flour. Stir until it reaches a crumbly texture.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and remaining sugar until they become light and fluffy.
  5. Gently fold in the fresh blackberries and chopped pistachios. Be cautious not to overmix to maintain the berry’s shape.
  6. Pour the blackberry filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until set and the edges are slightly golden.
  8. Once baked, allow it to cool completely on a wire rack in the pan. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares for serving.
