Quick and flavorful spicy chicken tacos made with ground chicken, sautéed peppers, and your choice of toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and bell peppers. Sauté 3–4 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Cook the ground chicken, breaking it up with a spatula. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the meat.
  4. Stir occasionally until the chicken is browned and no pink remains — about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  6. Fill each tortilla with a portion of the chicken mixture and top with desired toppings.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For lower fat, drain any excess fat after browning. Swap ground turkey or a plant-based crumble if needed.
